so.. my tattoo is *almost* finished! 

My skin doesn’t hold white very well so he has to redo the bottom part and the names still have to be added.. little details :)

but I do want to explain the tat..

this is to honor the daughters.. each month has a flower associated with it.. so each of these flowers represent the month in which each of the daughters were born.. Carnation for January.. Cosmo for October.. and the two Daffodils for March.. 

at the top is the Carnation which represents my first born @faneffingtastic.. the red represents a mother’s undying love..

below that.. the Cosmo.. representing the second born..

off to the side *you can only see the blue*.. the Daffodil.. representing the third born.. 

and at the bottom *which is all white*.. again.. The Daffodil.. representing the fourth born who passed in 1992.. from her flower is a thin line of grey that moves through each of the other flowers showing her connection to the souls of her sisters.. 

each of the daughter’s names will be listed below the tat.. and then.. before the fourth’s name is listed it will say.. “.. to die before one has lived.. is unbearable..” 

this.. by far.. is my favorite tat.. 

however.. on the 29th.. I will be getting another tattoo with a woman’s hand holding a baby’s hand.. and listed below that will be the names of the grandchildren..  

that one will probably end up sharing top honors with this tat
